Description
ANJELICA is very densely fleeced, with a very nice hand. ANJELICA (JELI) also has a beautiful headtype with full fleece coverage over her entire body. We consider JELI to be on the smallside so we will be breeding her to POLARIS, OLIVER'S sire, this year and then to OLIVER next year. JELI's dam AMARA produced an extremely elite male, AUGGIE, in 2011, when bred to OLIVER. When your shearer stops abruptly to ask questions about the alpaca being shorn, you know you have something GOOD! And AUGGIE is all of that.
We originally purchased AMARA for her Supernova genetics to be bred to OLIVER. It was only by chance that she was already bred to Archangel. We are thrilled to have discovered that her breeding to OLIVER has produced a better offspring than her breeding to Archangel did. JELI, however, will not be kicked to the curb. She will be a good production female for us with Legacy Gold, 3P Mr. President, Peruvian Snowmaster, Snowmass Messiah, 3P Augusto, Peruvian Hemingway and Royal Peruvian Apollo in her immediate pedigree, in addition to Supernova and Archangel.
JELI has had 2 wonderful cria for us ATTICUS and ADDISON...both exceptional. Their sire is OLIVER.
ANJELICA has been bred to BENTLEY'S ACCOYO BRAVADO for a late July 2026 cria.
