Arbutus, a.k.a. Arby, is a full fourth generation suri with great genetics behind him on both sides of his pedigree. He has two ribbon-winning parents and comes from well acclaimed bloodlines. He has high luster with fine independent pencil locks and good coverage. His conformation and bite are correct. He has no white markings whatsoever, and his sire, dam and two grandsires are also solid dark colored animals with no white spotting. His luster is intense, and his locks are slick. Arby is the color of a shiny copper penny and he absolutely GLOWS as he runs around the pasture! His dam, Madrona, placed 1st at the prestigious International Alpaca Odyssey in Del Mar, CA. Madrona is a Meteor grand-daughter. Arbutus's sire is Macgyver's Harley, a full brother to Reserve Herdsire of the Year, Captain Morgan. And Harley's sire Macgyver has been suri herdsire of the year for five years running! Arby is producing gorgeous offspring! To many males on the farm! We MUST reduce their numbers! We really hate to see Arby go, but must make room. This male has produced three gorgeous daughters. He needs to go to a farm that can use him more than we have. We sold two of his daughters, but the one that is here we can send samples of her fleece if anyone would like to see what he is producing.

Nova has been an incredible addition to our breeding program here at Brandilyn. Her 2007 cria is a beautiful white female with tightly twisted locks and incredible luster by NGG Accoyo Mickey Mantel. Her 2008 cria is a beautiful multi male by Condor's Jacob, with outstanding lock structure and luster. Her 2009 cria is a handsome 3/8 Accoyo, multi male by Jamya River, an Accoyo Diamond River son. Nova has extremely fine lustrous fiber. Her 2008 micron results only proved what we knew all along. FD=20.9, SD=4.1, CV=19.7, 2.2>30u. For a four year old female I'd say she is mighty fine! Nova is one of our finest fleeced females. She is appy marked and always catches your eye when out in the pasture. Her grand sires are Ganador & Hakeen. She comes from superb bloodlines! Nova is a GREAT mother! She's always taken on the 1st breeding - that is a plus too! She has more than abundant milk and is very protective of her babies. She's given us a two girls and three boys. Her girls have both been solid colored and her boys have both been appy marked like herself, until this year. Her 2011 male cria is a stunning solid medium brown suri with OUTSTANDING fleece! She has given us all suri offspring and I don't expect that to change. We're leaving Nova open thru the winter to get her on a spring or summer birthing program.
