Ace had an interesting start in life! Rough delivery as he decided to tuck his head down to his chest and mom had a hard time trying to get the widest part of his head out first! But, everyone pulled through and this boy was up and nursing within 10 minutes of being born! That is how we came up with his name - Soldier of Fortune! Nothing fortunate about this male other than his start in life. He is exactly what we were hoping for in the breeding between his dam and sire. Ace has an amazing wedge shaped head and a beard already started! He is extremely handsome, with mega luster and superior locks! His sire is Zanzibar, a back Macgyver son, with amazing fleece! His crias are just starting to arrive and they have all been impressive! Ace's dam is our Cassie, a true black Meteor daughter. She is listed under our foundation animals here on OpenHerd. We had Ace at his first show and he took a 1st out of a very competitive class of six weanling black males. We were very happy with this win! Ace now has two Reserve Champion wins under his belt! We are so excited about this black male! Ace's first baby arrived June 11, 2013! A gorgeous multi colored male!

Description

This is Chase! Great luster with finely twisted locks all on a square frame! His coloring makes him stand out in the pasture and guess what? He is changing colors! Once he is shorn we believe Chase will be a bay black if not a true black! This male will make a great 4-H project for a child. He'll be ready for his new home early in the new year (2014) so buy him now, take him home in January and have him trained and ready for the spring shows!
