Peruvian Rameses Huram

SuriHerdsire (Male)Medium Brown
AOA# 822366DOB: 5/14/200025 yrs
Huram is a gorgeous maroon male with dark skin and toe nails. His fiber is dense with great luster and his conformation is correct and strong. He has some impressive bloodlines! His sire is Peruvian Rameses, one of the nation's first exceptional colored suri males who was once featured on the cover of Alpacas magazine. Rameses sire is Peruvian Aureo who needs no introduction. Huram's offspring have ranged in color from dark fawn to true black. Yes, he is making black babies when bred to dark fawn or darker females! We look forward to Huram's breeding career here at Brandilyn. He has all the qualities we are striving for in our suri program and can't wait for him to pass them on to his progeny. We are amazed at the quality offspring Huram has produced for us here at Brandilyn!

Phoebe is a young, pretty Condor grand daughter with very fine fleece. Her locks have tons of luster. She has correct conformation with a very square body. Her legs are nice and straight and her bite correct. She is a very inquisitive girl and is the first one in the barn for her daily ration of grain. Her sire is our own, Joey, GLR Saltante, a white Condor son who is producing offspring with very fine lustrous locks. Her dam is a full Peruvian, bay black, Cool Fire daughter with very fine, lustrous, and dense fleece. Phoebe was rebred recently to our Full Peruvian herdsire, Rameses Huram, who's bloodlines go back to Rameses, Aureo, and Peruvian Huacho. We are so impressed with their 2011 male cria, Opie that we decided to try for another, but maybe a girl instead of a boy. She is currently spitting off when we behavior test her. We are keeping our fingers crossed for a fine fleeced, dark cria come fall 2012.

Description

We are so pleased with the quality of this male! This is our Peruvian herdsire's first cria for us and we can't stop grinning everytime we look at Opie! In fact we are so pleased with Opie that we re-bred his dam right back to Huram for her 2012 cria! Opie is SLICK, GREASY, LOCKED, and DENSE! His light fawn fiber looks like it is always wet! His conformation and bite are correct. Opie has phenomanal bloodlines: Aureo, Huacho, Condor, Pardner, Cool Fire, Fuego, and Uribe! I have Opie listed as a full Peruvian male. He is actually about 1/32 Bolivian, but there is nowhere to list that percentage. Look for this male at a show near you Spring 2012!
