Description
Jamocha has been a favorite from the day she was born 3 weeks early in a snowstorm. She had a rough start, but grew up to be a beautiful female that produced grey crias. Jamocha had a dystocia and C-section in 2004 and has not held a pregnancy since that time. She is sold as a non-breeder and is a good companion alpaca. Jamocha is now 19 years old, is healthy, but needs some extra feed to keep weight on her. She is good with crias and weanlings and can be a "nanny".
Because Jamocha is older, her fleece has become higher in micron, but is usable for rugs, place mats, handbags, or anything that is not worn next to the skin. It is a beautiful heathered rose grey in color.
We are sad the announce the passing of Jamocha at the age of 23 years and 4 months. She died of heart failure and lived a very good and long life at our farm. She was one of the 1st crias born on our farm! We miss seeing her out in the pasture and in the barn.
