Carabella is one of the last remaining daughters of Meteor, a suri herd sire who had a huge impact in the early suri industry in the US. Meteor was known for his density and intense deep maroon color, with the ability to pass on his lock and density to his offspring. Carabella's dam is 4Peruvian Cale, dam of Cantano of Peru who sold for $265,000 at auction in 2002. Carabella is the HALF SISTER to Cantano of Peru! While Carabella's current photo does not due her any justice, she has correct conformation, a good bite, and good regrowth of her fleece each year. She still sheared a 3lb 4 oz blanket, so the density and quantity of fleece has lasted over the years. She produced a sorted Grade 2 and Grade 3 blanket. Carabella is a good production dam, ad is ready to breed now. She still has the capability to produce another 3-5 crias and is in good health. This is a proven dam with great, rare foundation genetics as both sire and dam are now deceased. She would be great for a new farm that needs experienced dams that are easy to breed, give birth easily, and are good mothers with plenty of milk. If you worry about your crias being born while you are not there, then this is the female for you - she does it all for you! She is not currently bred, but can be bred to a Wild Rose Suri Ranch or Rainbow Mountain Alpacas herd sire for a greatly reduced fee with her purchase. Check out her daughters and sons who are also in the sale: Cartella, a prove producer, Cinnamon Twist, a proven producer, and Bella's Dusty, a junior herd sire. She is a big, solid girl, with excellent conformation and pleasing proportions. She has been shown 3 times and each time was awarded the 1st Place ribbon, including at the 2010 MAPACA Jubilee, the largest show in the world. Her sire is Chip's Peruvian Blackmail, a true black, Black Chip son with 4P Magnifico (dark silver grey) as the grand sire, and 4P Latte (dark brown) as the grand dam. Blackmail has produced many black offspring with notable locking characteristics and high luster. He was owned by Diane Beaver of Alpaca Ventures LLC and was one of her top herd sires. Cinnamon Twist's dam is Carabella, who was never shown, but should have been. She is the daughter of 4P Meteor, one of the the most gorgeous deep dark maroon in the country at the time. Meteor went on to sire many well known champion sires for Park View Alpacas, including Cantano of Peru, who Alpaca Ventures purchased for $265,000 at auction. Carabella is a FULL SISTER to Cantano of Peru, and their common dam is 4P Cale. Cinnamon Twist has produced 3 offspring from Yodi's Creation, a highly ribboned grey male shown by Jim Weir of Wildlife Ranch in Colorado. Yodi's Creation produced amazing density, lock, and luster on his crias with colors ranging from Light Fawn to Bay Black. Twisting Jack, her 2011 male cria by Yodi's Creation is available for sale in the Sensational Suri Sale. Jack sheared a 4 lb blanket in 2015, highlighting his density. Cinnamon is currently not bred, but can be bred to a Wild Rose Suri Ranch or Rainbow Mountain Alpacas herd sire for a greatly reduced fee with her purchase. Cinnamon Twist is currently residing at Rainbow Mountain Alpacas in Punxatawney, PA and can be seen there. She is offered for sale in the Sensational Suri Sale now through June 28th.
