Shillelagh is a top foundation dam for producing black and grey crias with heavy bone, outstanding coverage and fine fleece. She sheared a 3 lb, 7 oz fleece in 2015 at the age of 12. She has had 5 female crias in a row: 2 black, 2 grey, and one light fawn. She is a good mother, looking out for her daughters and even their crias. Her dam is 4P Carnelian from the 1995 Peruvian import, and she is brown in color, with excellent coverage. She has large bone structure, excellent fiber coverage on her legs and still has a beard that comes in each year, even at her age! Goliath by Torbio is the maternal 1/2 brother to Shillelagh, with beautiful lock regrowth and density. Aurora's Borealis, her sire, in a well-known true black herd sire by 2Peruvian Angel that resided on the West Coast. His coverage is phenomenal and his fiber took 1st Place at the AOBA National Show, the Estes Park Wool Market, and Fiberfest in 1998. He also won Judge's Choice for all suri fleeces at the AOBA National Show, an amazing feat for a black suri at that time in the industry. His beauty is more than skin deep and he has proven himself with his progeny. Over 83% are females, and only two of them are white. Shillelagh is not currently bred, but can be bred to a Wild Rose Suri Ranch or Rainbow Mountain Alpacas herd sire for a greatly reduced fee with her purchase. She is currently residing at the Wild Rose Suri Ranch in Havre de Grace, MD, and can be viewed there. She is offered for sale in the Sensational Suri Sale now through June 28th. Description

Gracie is loaded with black and dark genetics, and we fully expect her to produce balck crias when bred to black. Gracie Lee has very correct conformation with straight legs, a good bite, and level topline. Her fleece is very high luster and is a solid non-hairy Grade 4, the best for yarn and sock production. On top of that, Gracie sheared a 4 lb blanket in May 2014, making her a dense and significant production girl. Gracie was only shown in 2011, placing 1st at the Empire Alpaca Show and 2nd at the extremely competitive Best of the US Alpaca Show. Gracie's dam is Our Peruvian Shillelagh, a beautiful true black dam by Aurora's Borealis.
