Bono is a wonderfully conformed male with VERY nice fiber. His prior owner has not attended shows with her animals. His fiber was entered in one show and scored higher than championship fiber at the halter shows. In fact it is almost identical fiber to our girl Capri who has an outstanding halter show record. This guy has a slew of grand genetics behind him: Vengador, Godfather,Amadeus, Timoteo. His dam is a color champion and has retained her outstanding fiber even after several pregnancies. Bono's first offspring

Phenom was one of the most anticipated cria on our farm in 19 years. Breeding our blue-ribbon girl Darby to a multi-champion white in hopes of a phenomenal white that we could use as a potent herdsire for even more awesome whites. I'm a yarn dyer and really wanted and needed more great white fiber. He did not disappoint! Tiny tight corkscrews is what one hopes to see and that all we saw with this guy. Now after shearing with his fleece shorter, it looks almost matted due to the super fine nature and density. Can't wait to show this guy. He received a 1st in Light Bred & Owned and a 3rd in Lights Halter @ the MOPACA/Mid-America show 2022 In 2023 he placed okaybecause he was the youngest and smallest. He classifies as beige because of a light fawn/beige top line that is very faint. 2024 he was the largest in his classes. A couple shows didn't offer much competition but the judges loved him, He took1st and 2nds, considered for RC. Update: After looking at notes from a crazy breeding calendar. He was the last to breed to a girl who has been losing pregnancies but vet did see a very early pregancy so Phenom is working. We are having blood drawn on that girl for hormone evaluation. I pray she fixed herself! I'd absolutely love a Phenom white offspring.

Description

This big girl is about as robust as they come. 23.7 lbs and raring to get up and find that milk bar! Only a few days old but fleece is dense with micro bundling starting in. Large bones and straight frame. This girl's family are great at birthing and milk production and good solid mothering skills. Bombay will be an amazing foundation girl able to produce color like all her female relatives have. The only reason she hasn't been shown is because she has no sense of cleanliness! She gets hosed down to clean her off but before she is dry she will find something to lay in. Very dense (hard to breed for), brilliant shine, with a high frequency, low amp fleece. Her breeding to Impeccable has been anticipated greatly. I can't keep all these gals so look long and hard at this girl who has a ton of remarkable fiber and a great family history of production of white and color. She is halter trained and a sweet heart. Of course BVDV negative Bombay had her much anticipated Impeccable offspring on June 13, 2019. Impeccable's Imposter is drop dead gorgeous and will most likely be Impeccable's replacement in a few years. Beautiful medium to dark fawn with amazing conformation and fiber. Show string material for sure! As much as I wanted to rebreed Bombay to Impeccable, Imposter was a month old when the next few cria came that were too small for his playful personality. We decided to have his dam bred off farm so we'd get some new lines plus have him be with cria his own size. Terrific decision. She took on the first breeding to a stud at Foggy Bottom Alpacas. Bombay birthed a white female with her Baldasarre breeding. Fantastic fleece and large bone, nice coverage. The summer got away from me with running the store and farm etc...so not as many females got bred as I wanted to. 2021 Bombay was bred to a white male that I sooo wanted offspring from but she didn't maintain the pregnancy, just got fat! She has been exposed to JJA Adonis' Dozer. Spit testing postive. Bombay did have a brown female in 2023. A extremely gorgeous girl, very robust until she ate something that caused a partial blockage. She passed away despite every effort to save her. We rebred Bombay to Phenom in late 2024 when Phenom had just turned two. He did everything right. We weren't able to verify pregnancy. She did look like it but alas, she fooled us. She did drop instantly for Phenom on Sept. 18th and ran 7 days later so crossing fingers!
