We are always on the hunt for great foundation females. Divinity rose to the top when we realized that she has produced champion offspring. Not only champions, but a multi-champion black male named Night Shift. We saw Night Shift at TXOLAN in February where he was CC. Divinity's 2021 cria Domino (DB) recently won 2 banners also. Divinity was the winner of Produce of Dam at TXOLAN also. We purchased this beautiful dam who was bred to NPA Coronado. Look for photos of Chanterella (Ella) and Constellation (Stella). Currently bred to Magavin for her 2024 cria..........he arrived on 8/28/24 and he's everything we had hoped for. Watch for updates After a few months off, we bred Divinity to JC winning Smoke 'n Gun. We expect a stunning cria in June 2026 Color genotype EEAa1 non-grey

Service Sire: 5C's Captain Cognac

2X National Champion Fleece

5C's Captain Cognac

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Brown
AOA# 35476429DOB: 8/29/20196 yrs
Another amazing Champion offspring of our 5C's Captain Midnight. 5C's Captain Cognac's fleece is stunningly bright with incredible fineness and staple length. His density is off the charts. Cognac has a stunning, proud presence that begs attention. He just keeps improving as he grows. This is a perfect example of breeding Champions to Champions. His TB sire, 18X Champion 5C's Captain Midnight, needs no introduction, and his dam, Spartan's Kalista, is a champion and super producer as well. 5C's Captain Cognac's beautiful brown juvenile fleece was awarded the Reserve Champion Brown Male at the 2020 National Fleece Show. This fleece also garnered not only 1st place and Color Champion, but Best Brightness for the entire show at TXOLAN 2021. This fleece has also earned the coveted Advanced Fleece Reward in each show entered. Cognac made us so proud when he was awarded 1st place in both halter shows at Fall Buckeye 2020. ****Update Captain Cognac's yearling fleece has been awarded the 2021 National Brown Male Champion. We are so proud of this gorgeous brown male. He is definitely the REAL DEAL. This fleece has density, uniformity, brightness, staple length and fineness. What else could you ask for? The best part is that he is retaining his outstanding character and fineness. His 2024 fleece is stunning. Cognac's crias are stunning and range from beige to bay black. He does carry one dilution so the color of the cria will be determined by the combination of color of the dam. No matter what the color the fleeces are amazing. Heads up West Coast breeders, Coganc is standing at Thordarson Farms through May 2025. Contact either farm to book arrange to breed your female. Well he's back and breeding here at home. His crias born this year are exciting. Two beautiful females were born here on the farm. Color Genotype Eea2a1

Description

She's got the phenotype, the conformation, the strong solid genetics, AND the Fleece. Add in the Miss Congeniality personality and we have ourselves a great one. Ella is listed here as DSG but she's actually a true roan. Ella was such a joy to show and she did very well representing us in the ring. Her fleece is fine, consistent, and bright, with long staple and a fine crimp style. We see big things in Ella's future. Ella is a big strong female who we're sure will be a great production female. She is confirmed pregnant with a Captain Cognac cria and due the end of June 2026. This combination is very exciting and should produce a rockstar cria in Black or Fawn or maybe roan. WOW what a combination!!! Eea1a2 Non-grey
