Mr. Big-- Producer of Champions AND GLAMOR MODELS!! His son, Charming, has "hit the runway"! Mr. Big is sired by MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite-- thought to be one of the most successful black herdsire in the industry. At his peak, his breedings sold for $7500. His offspring have dominated at the shows across the country for years. Mr. Big's dam 'Maia' is a two time 'Produce of Dam' blue ribbon winner and is a daughter of MFI Peruvian Jericho, who has produced offspring that have won over 130 championships. He is also the sire of Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah. Mr. Big's fleece is very, very dense with zipper crimp, full of character and beautiful brightness-- even at age 10. When shown under Wade Gease, he described it as being very velvety. Mr. Big is a solidly built boy with big bone, straight legs. Mr. Big is a real 'eat pellets out of your hand' kinda guy. He has a confident, calm, very relaxed disposition which makes him very nice to handle and show. Show History: Mr. Big's first show and it's a first place! At The Best Of the US Show in Columbus Oh. March 10, 2012. Mr. Big placed second at the 2012 AOBA Nationals in Louisville, KY. First show of 2013 for Mr. Big and he placed 3rd in a very large competitive class at the Best of the US Show in the dark brown yearling male class (this is the only show that they did not put him the multi class). Amanda Vandenbosch appreciated his denseness with it's lovely character, along with his substantial frame and big bone. Finally they offered a championship for multis, at the 2013 MAPACA Show, a level 5 show and Mr. Big won the Reserve Championship. Still going strong in 2014 with a first at the Best of the US Show in Columbus, Ohio, and then followed that up with another blue at the 2014 Kentucky Classic in Lexington, Ky. and another blue at the 2014 MAPACA Jubilee! 2014 OABA AlpacaFest and another blue. Mr. Big now has six offspring on the ground. Five are True Blacks out of True Blacks and one is dark brown out of bay black. Daughter, Rare Gem Grace O'Malley, is a 3X banner winner and will be consigned to the 2023 Parade of Champions Auction in New York.

TCB Corky

AOA# 30471467DOB: 2/22/200619 yrs
Corky is only one of two true black females ever produced from 6 Peruvian The Last Don! Corky is a full Peruvian, half Accoyo true black with impressive genetics. She was sired by the one and only 6Peruvian Accoyo The Last Don and her dam was 5Peruvian Indigo Ink. These two alpacas were Peruvian imports and quickly made their mark in the industry. Corky is exceptional for a true black just like her mom. She is well-proportioned, true to type with a proper head and broad muzzle. Corky has excellent substance of bone with good body capacity through her chest. Even though Corky is one of Rare Gem's mature foundation girls, her fleece and topknot are still thick and dense at almost 12 years of age. Her fleece is still crimpy and bright. We really appreciate Corky’s classic Accoyo look as evidenced by her compact broad muzzle. Corky was bred to Taos' Peruvian Pearl Jam and produced a beautiful 2014 cria BMF Pearl Jam's Indigo Ink Spot! "Wow" is the result of this breeding. Pearl Jam is a 9x Blue Ribbon winner and full brother to BMF Taos' Zeppelin! His Pearl Jam fineness and crimp genetics with this Last Don gal shows again just what she can produce. 2016 Update: Corky produced another silky-fleeced cria, Rare Gem Grace O'Malley. She has proven herself to deliver quality. Her genetics are great match for any color phased herdsire of quality. 2017 Updates: - Corky's 2016 progeny, Rare Gem Grace O'Malley, entered the show world this year and took Black Reserve Color Champion in the Cottage Fleece Competition at the 2017 AOA National Fleece Show. - 11/21/17 Corky throws a gorgeous modern grey female cria!! 2019 Update: - June 2019... meet the arrival of Corky's handsome jet black young man, RG Cuppa Joe!

This is very hard to do, but I've added Fig to our new "Big Male Sale". We have a barn full of males. Out of the last 10 crias we've had born here 9 are males! So we have greatly reduced their prices. Fig continued to bring home the Blues! He won his class at the 2018 Buckeye Alpaca Show, a large and very tough show! Fig also took first in a VERY competitive halter class at the 2017 Buckeye Show. Then he went on to win his Walking Fleece class at another very competitive show, the 2017 MAPACA Jubilee, where he followed that with placing second in both of his halter classes. Quite an accomplishment! Take a look at his histogram report, that itself, completely explains his success in the show ring. It is too bad for Fig that we are a very small farm, less than 20 animals and only go to a few shows a year. I know he could of accomplished so much more with more exposure. The judges have commented on his 'look', that excellent conformation with loads of fleece on his nice square compact frame. His fleece's architecture is densely loaded with small independent bundles that carry a high frequency crimp throughout the whole length of his very long staple and his 17.5 micron fineness creates such a lovely handle, so soft! Add to all that his cute curb appeal and you just couldn't ask for any more in this lovely young male! Fig is a true result of his pedigree, there is not a weak spot in it. With his exceptional fleece characteristics and very interesting color genetics it should be so much fun to see what he produces next! CONGRATULATIONS to Fig's 2020 cria, Thatll Do Figgy Pudding, for winning her Color Championship at the 2021 Buckeye Fall Fest! and then went on to winning her second banner at Nationals for Best Bred and Owned! We are a very small farm and have only had 3 crias sired by Fig so far and all three have won blues at large shows.
