If you want a male that can make a champion in any color then look no further...Candy Man "can!" Candy Man's offspring are winning championships in halter and fleece. He passes on his amazing uniformity and brightness, as well as a high frequency, high amplitude crimp to his offspring consistently. The density levels are ridiculous considering the low micron fleeces he is making and possesses himself. Honestly, any girl can be bred to Candy Man and it will be amazing regardless of color. I should mention that he is the sire of the 2014 Grey Male Futurity Champion, KVR's Peruvian True Eye Candy (aka Ike), now owned by Delphi Alpacas. Breed your best and watch Candy Man stand up to the test, or breed your girls that need some fixing and watch Candy Man give you what you are wishing.

Mercury (CSAF .38’s Mercury Rising) is a striking Medium Silver Grey son of the legendary Aussie .38 Special. He stands on a strong, well-balanced frame with excellent bone, presence, and a notably calm temperament that makes him very easy to handle. His fleece has been recognized for its staple length, density, and commercial value, earning him multiple championships before beginning his breeding career. Mercury’s EPDs reflect his strengths, with Top 10% rankings in Mean Staple Length (MSL) and solid fiber traits, making him a valuable option for breeders looking to combine color production with fleece performance. With grey depth on both sides of his pedigree, Mercury is a consistent producer of desirable grey and dark offspring. At High Desert Farmstead, Mercury has proven his impact across multiple cria: Fynn – light fawn male with strong crimp and balanced conformation. Edison – yearling with exceptional staple length, brightness, and density. Stryker – true black male showing promising fleece density and staple length. Annie (Andalusia) – rose grey daughter with beautiful phenotype and color expression. Mercury reliably passes on staple length, frame, and grey influence to his offspring, making him an asset to any breeding program focused on color and fleece quality. We currently have five females bred to Mercury for 2026 cria, underscoring our confidence in his genetics and production. With his proven offspring, versatile color outcomes, show-winning heritage, and calm personality, Mercury continues to stand out as a premier silver grey sire.
